What does health, or being healthy, mean to you?
A calm nervous system is the byproduct of a fit mind, body, and soul.
How would you describe your current lifestyle?
Dreamy. Although, like a swan, it appears to be glamorous, [but] I have to furiously paddle to make it all happen.
How do you start and end your days?
I start with my daily manifestation practice, which I outlined in depth on Please Note. I begin by lighting my Madame Grey Zodiac candle [Editor’s note: get early access with code ‘CLOSEFRIENDSONLY’], which rotates based on the astrological season or which attributes I feel I need to call in at that moment. I end with a world-class sleep ritual I’ll be writing about soon. Sleep is the single most important step in my skincare routine.
“I’m an introvert; I prioritize recharge time alone from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m.”
Can you recall a moment when you became more aware of your health, or your relationship to it changed?
January 1, 2017, is my sobriety date. The love of my life, Brad, passed away in May of that year. Being widowed with a two-year-old boy made me not just a mom but also a dad.
Do you have a spiritual practice?
What’s your relationship to self-healing?
I’m a boss-bitch single mom with a lot of responsibility. I’ve got a lot of lawyers and a lot of doctors — the kind who don’t take insurance and the kind who don’t get out of bed for less than $1,200 an hour.
Do you work with any practitioners, texts, or modalities on a regular basis?
I have an elite fleet of spiritual advisors who have helped shape my practice. Amongst my elite fleet — my psychoanalyst, Dr. Philip Stutz; NYPD’s medium-in-residence, Johnathan; my Hoffman Process teacher, Marissa. It was my astrologer, Karen Thorne, who suggested I design a daily manifestation practice.
When do you feel the most nourished?
When my son is healthy and happy.
How do you reset?
I’m an introvert; I prioritize recharge time alone from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m.
Do you have a favorite meal?
I die for pickles.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Trust your intuition, a superpower we all have access to, all the time. It’s like a trusted advisor who is never wrong.
To the person reading this?
Trust your intuition; it’s a superpower we all have access to at all times. Think of it as a trusted advisor who is never wrong.
What would you like to see or create more of in the world?
My rabbi says to tend the garden you can reach. If we all did that, what a wonderful world it would be.

I have made it
"Dreamy. Although, like a swan, it appears to be glamorous, [but] I have to furiously paddle to make it all happen." I relate!
